The room and the entire property was very clean. The bathroom was also very neat and tidy. The bathroom needs to be shared amongst 4 rooms. However, I was lucky and was the only one staying during the time. The room itself was quite cosy and comfortable and the bed was perfect for 1 person. I had a good sleep with a quiet night. The bus stop was right around the corner. There was also a supermarket there. I was also allowed to check in before time so that was very convenient. It was a comfortable stay for 1 night and a good value for money.
Communication was a problem as the owner/manager didn’t speak English. Since I had been to Switzerland before, I knew about the city taxes and that the buses were included in the guest guard so I had to ask for it. When I came, the restaurant was closed so it was a problem to find the door to enter as there was no reception. I was lucky and spotted by the owner through the window and he asked me and let me in. Probably it is better to inform the arrival time before.

Many thanks to Restaurant Blum for the hospitality. It was quiet. The bus stop is very close. The room itself is cozy and secluded. I felt very good there.

The location was nice, not too far from the downtown. The room was small, but had everything you need. Good value for the money.
It was a bit too hot in the room, the air gets stuffy quickly. And there was some bug in the sink - not pleasant.

I was on a motorcycle and it was raining. I was glad it was easy to find.
It was in a construction site. The neighborhood was kind of a throwback to the American 1950s. Late at night I heard cars racing on the street! I have not heard that even in America for years. Also someone set off fireworks twice. The Internet did not work at first and it took me a while to get the proprietor to understand (I am a computer engineer) and reset his WAP. It was excruciatingly slow so I could not upload pictures but it did support Skype and WhatsApp audio calls. The proprietor speaks no English. I speak no German. It does not seem like he does a lot of Restsurant or hotel business. But I am not picky. It was clean and I slept well and got going in the morning. Also in the rain!
