Great independent hotel in the heart of Grindelwald. Excellent spa with great views from the room, the dining area, and the spa. Super-lovely staff and good breakfast. Would definitely stay there the next tine I'm in Grindelwald.

Lovely hotel with views to die for. Lovely lobby with wood fire at night. Efficient staff. Good breakfast. Rooms compact with adequate with adjustable radiator. Spa is excellent with hot sauna then cold ice tunnel (you can wear a towel but no swimwear). Increasing rooms. Outside pool nice but can get crowded and sometimes with video influencers. Close to everything in town.
Nothing much. Rooms can get warm but open the window turn down the radiator control.

Loved everything about this property. We stayed here at the Eiger Suite in October, few days before the hotel was supposed to close for the season. Rooms were really spacious, with impeccable views. Luckily, we had great weather during the entirety of our stay, which meant we properly utilized the terrace that came with the suite.
Though the hotel restaurants were already closed down for the season, but the breakfast service was still open and it had a wide spread with great selections. Lady/Ladies at the front desk was/were always very polite and helpful.
We would definitely be staying here again when we return to Grindelwald.

The rooms are spacious and the quality of the restaurant was as we remembered from many years ago. The hotel is well-situated for what we wanted to do in the village. We appreciated that we could park our car. Our travel guests enjoyed the spa facilities.

This hotel is in fantastic location right in the center of Grindenwald. The view from our deck of Eiger was unbelievable. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were very clean. Check in was seamless and they have onsite parking. The breakfast was great with a very cool luxury coffee machine that made a myriad of coffee beverages, an omelet stations, fresh pastries, cheeses, meats and fruits. The best was the spa with the coolest pool ever! The beautiful lights in the pool made it a mesmerizing experience with a view overlooking the alps! There are lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Avocado bar was our favorite with a lively back deck with dancing and music! Loved this hotel!

Location is great, short distance to the train station and First. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. SPA is great with great view.
Rooms are small but clean, breakfast can be improved, maybe change menus daily. We were there for 3 days and the same breakfast was served. Variety should considered.

Amazing view of the mountains from our balcony. Staff and facilities were great. Incredible outside pool overlooking the mountains and wonderful spa. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were wonderful.

I only booked a budget single room but I was very happy with the size. The bathroom was spacious and the bed wasnt bad. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and the view to the north face of the Eiger from the room in the morning was stunning. The hotel has a few common areas with casual seating which was nice to enjoy instead of always being in one’s room especially when it’s raining and not pleasant to be outside. I’d definitely recommend this hotel as it was in walking distance from the station and so close to all the activities in the area.

I didn’t use the spa or outside pool as it a strange set up where you had to swim under a hanging plastic screen to get outside. On the inside where the pool chairs were, the floor was all wet as there was no way to dry off before reaching this area

It is musty and could use an upgrade. There is no air flow in the rooms and there was mold in the bathroom.
