Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to reserve parking in garage. Excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant on site. We had a beautiful view. Location is good for walking everywhere or catching public transportation.

The staff was extremely friendly - with all the little details they made our stay memorable! Location is just perfect - walking distance to First. The hotel has it's own private parking which was super convenient. The breakfast was very good as well.
We had a single room, which was excellent and spacious. And the double room - which was a bit outdated, could be more spacious and renovated considering it's price.
Overall, nothing to complain about.

The staff and hotel manager are very friendly and helpful. Overall property and rooms are clean. Our mountain view from the balcony was really nice. The spa is awesome and the masseuse is experienced. The mini fridge condiments, beer and snacks are free and replenished daily.

Wonderful
The room was comfortable and well maintained. The location was a short walk from the train station, it was in the center of Grindelwald and we had a great view of Eiger. The breakfast was good. We had a few lunches and dinners there. The staff was excellent.
Lots of flyes buzzing around during the meals but that seemed to be the situation in all of the restaurants and hotels in Grindelwald.

The layout was unique. There was plenty of places to put items away if you are staying for a while. The turkey on the breakfast buffet was nice. The long breakfast hours until 11 am was great. In five days we did not have them clean our room or restock anything, but the good news was that they would have restocked the snacks and drinks if we took off our "do not disturb sign". The massage was excellent. The location was good, especially since they picked us up and dropped us off from the train station. I liked that they took the postcards to mail. Melanie was excellent; some of the other staff - not so helpful.
The hotel is convoluted. You have to take two elevators and go up a flight of stairs to get to your room. We paid the large extra fee for a junior suite, but that just put us in the back of the hotel overlooking a parknig lot. Literally, I expected a view, but I got none. The bed was hard. The pillows were bean bags. The television did not have English stations. There were no USB ports for charging. Some of the staff were unpleasant. Now, Melanie was super helpful, but I wanted a cup of water after a hike and the person gruffly said I had to pay what amounted to $5 USD to get some tap water.

From check-in the staff were polite and thorough in explaining the amenities of the resort. The complimentary access to the spa transformed my stay here especially considering the spa remained open until 10pm. I was able to get a delectable dinner and still was able to enjoy 30 mins in the relaxation sauna before bed. The best was the fact that the room was the comfy and large yet exceed my expectations with the exceptional design and ambiance set with luxury and relaxation. The complimentary breakfast was divine, and the variety was extensive but filling especially the bread pudding.
I can only say that I wished that my stay here was longer because the resort is top notch. If they offered Swiss adaptor, then it would have been perfect.

The location was fantastic. The hotel was larger than I expecetd (larger than it appeared in online searches). As a result, there are several buildings, and my room was in one of rear facing buildings. Not a great view (facing a parking lot). Next time, I will pay to reserve one of the front-facing rooms.
I arrived early. I knew my room would not be ready yet. it was raining hard that day. I asked if I could sit in the street-facing restaurant and work on my laptop until my room was ready. I ordered food, and multiple cups of coffee. The young man that checked me in wouldn't let me continue to sit there, as he thought they might need that table for other restaurant guests (which they didn't as there were dozens of other empty tables).

Very Good
Location was right in the heart of town. We were able to walk everywhere. Couple massage was very relaxing after a long day hiking. Balcony had great views.
Room was a little cramped for the price. Street noise was present, but we wanted to keep the balcony door open.
