Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience at the end of our stay.
While we were leaving and collecting our luggage, we ordered two coffees after seeing the staff offering complimentary coffee to guests who were waiting for their rooms to be ready. However, when we were leaving, the gentleman at the reception asked us to pay for the coffees.
What made the situation even more disappointing was that we had already spent quite a lot during our two-day stay at the hotel. We simply expected the same level of hospitality and courtesy that was being offered to other guests.
It was a very awkward and disappointing way to end an otherwise pleasant stay.

Wonderful location. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the train station and less than 5 to the lake. The room was clean and comfortable (nothing fancy). The breakfast was great as well.

Really nice staff and breakfast, they serve it to your room and with great portion
The facilites are a bit old for example the drainage of the shower doesn’t work well and you’ll have to wait for the water to go out

We had a cute 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. Lots of room to move around and spread out and it was super quiet. The location was great. We could walk everywhere. The breakfast was amazing
The whole hotel is a little old and dated but that did not impact our stay or our enjoyment. Staff with super helpful.

Hotel was well located and easy t o find the break fast was good , The staff was well behaved and mulilinhula , There was good cleanliness all over .
There was no buffet system . The location is convenient to the train station. The room was a decent size, and had a little kitchenette. Breakfast was delivered to the room.

The location was perfect. Closer to the center and old town plus lake area was advantageous for us.

Location, staff, comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast delivered to the room.
NO Airconditioning during the heatwave made it difficult to sleep. The large fan helped.

Close by the Geneva bus station. Central to city sights and shops. As the room was ready, the reception allowed us to check in before the appointed time.
With the European summer heat wave, it is very warm inside room. The hotel provided an electric standing fan. But still too warm until the sun sets.

Staff was great, 1 room was big, the other was smaller. We loved the breakfast being served in the room. Good location was good- close to the train and several restaurants.
No AC! It was very hot when we were there and the fans were helpful but no AC was hard on sleeping.

Hotel Tor was in a fabulous location, between the Cornavin train station in Geneva and the Lake Geneva waterfront. The staff had the room ready before check-in time and were exceedingly friendly. The room and attached bathroom were clean and best of all, the included breakfast was delivered to your room. Fabulous!
