Located at the Cornavin Main Train Station in the center of Geneva. The Old Town is just a 10-minute walk away and you can find excellent public transport connections to the airport and the central business area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. 1.I waited at the hotel reception for 10 minutes until someone came to me. 2. The hotel's website states that they have parking, but they don't, that's cheating in my opinion. 3.I sleep in hotels a lot, and this is not a 4-star hotel.

The location is very good and very accessible
2 things: An elderly lady came to pick me up, the female receptionist was rude while communicating to me over the phone Two days out of 9, the housekeeper didn’t do the room also I try to keep it clean to the maximum possible.

I was having an allergic reaction to the rug in the room I was assigned, but the very friendly and kind receptionist changed my room to one without a rug and I recovered. Thank you for a very excellent stay!

I booked the room with kitchen and it has been really comfortable. However, coffee machine is not working. Cleaning staffs are inconsistence in arear they intended to clean or not do it. Somedays, the room and kitchen were neatly clean and other days not. Location of the hotel is super convenient to go around and between cities because it's just within reach to the central station. I am coming to stay again in a week time. Hope I have similar or better experience. Oh, Thanks for sharing the city transportation ahead of time so I can use it right away from the airport.
I like to see more of the consistency of cleaning process and mindful of hidden dirty spots. It will be helpful if staff tell us what we can expect from the services.

The value of, location and convenience was great for our trip. It it literally right next to the train station that connects you to the rest of Switzerland . There is not even a street between the two. However, after this trip weWILL NOT be using BOOKING.COM again? Contact Hotel Montbrillant directly, or use anther travel service.

If you are traveling by train, it’s extremely close to the train station, you truly can’t get any closer. When you have the windows closed, they do a good job of keeping sound out. The staff were nice.
The listing indicates there is parking available through the hotel. This is NOT true and we ended up having to park at the train station after circling the hotel multiple times trying to figure out where their parking was. The only reason we went with this hotel was because of the parking. We would’ve chosen a different location if we had known we’d just have to park at the train station like other hotels indicate on their listings. Additionally, the rooms smelled horribly and felt very dingy. The room key didn’t work at first and the overhead ceiling light was not functional at all. The rooms were fairly dark inside without good lighting. The rooms were difficult to air out because if you open your curtains, everyone at the train station can see directly into your room. The tub for the shower is extremely high and therefore difficult to get in. If you have any sort of mobility issues, the shower is a nightmare for you. I would not stay here again to be honest.

My room was clean and it had everything one needs, but very basic. It is a tiny room, overlooking the train station. It's super central.
I don't know that this can be better. Due to the fact that the hotel is right at the back of the main station, it feels unsafe and at night, there is lot of commotion with drunken or homeless individuals. There is endless shouting and screaming, even when you close the window.
