Located in the St Gervais quarter, Hotel des Tourelles offers contemporary rooms in a historic building with free WiFi, coffee and tea making facilities and private bathrooms. Offering a mix of modern furnishings and old-world décor, each room has cable TV and bathroom amenities. Some rooms have scenic views of Rhone River. • The hotel reception opens from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., so for late arrivals please inform us as soon as possible. • The hotel is located in the city center along the Rhone river, about 10 minutes by foot from Geneva railway station and about 30-45 minutes by bus or by train from the airport. • Our hotel does not provide any breakfast, however several options are possible within walking distance from our property. • All our rooms are non–smoking. They are equipped with a telephone, Wi-Fi, a safe deposit box, a cable TV, a small fridge, a hair dryer and a kettle for our guests to prepare tea or coffee at their convenience. • You will receive a free transport card for the area of Geneva, valid throughout your stay on UNIRESO (public transportation network), which you will receive automatically some days prior to arrival. - Our rooms are not equipped with air conditioning, but a fan is provided in each room.

As a solo traveller on a long European trip, I booked budget accommodations for several of my stops. Because of this , I manage my expectations for these properties. If they are clean , quiet and safe I am satisfied. Tourelles was pristinely clean and perhaps one of the safest places I ever booked . The location is also great and only a 10 minute walk from Geneva Corning train station .
My private bathroom was across the hall from my room. I knew this going in because the mat room option was cheaper …but it took a little getting used to . Ultimately it was not an issue .

Very good location and comfortable bed.
Weird setup - is not really a hotel but rather several rooms in an old building. The bathroom is so small it looks like an airplane bathroom with a shower. It is all plastic, like a big shower cabine installed in the room. It is OK for one night, but would not recommend it for longer stays.

There was one pillow. Fluff up the single bed to make it an enjoyable single. Inform that I had to walk into the hall to use the bathroom.

Historic building with great views of the river and in a central location! Staff was friendly and responsive. Room was much bigger than expected as well.
No A/C, but that was expected and it was actually really cool inside with the fan. The floors are a bit creeky and noise travels but also to be expected in a historic house and didn't bother us.

Close to historic area, bus connections. Staff kindly told me about a food fair nearby & the food & drink was great, it was fun. For a one night stay this was perfect! I opened the windows to balcony at night for a lovely view of the river. I flew in this morning & attended a scheduled meeting in the evening. The area was quite safe to walk in after dark. I would return.
