The decor and cleanliness of the hotel are good. Staff attentive.
Breakfast somewhat undewhelming
The hotel is situated on a square that seems to attract a lot of individuals with alcohol disuse/homeless. They generally keep themselves to themselves but this could be offputting particularly for the solo traveller and may be intimidating to some.

Convenient location. Very quiet rooms, dry clean rooms, exceptionally fitted out rooms, very comfortable bed and fantastic pillows. USB c charging port.

THE BREAKFAST WAS OK AND EASY. LOTS OF PASTRIES AND BREADS. BEST APPLE JUICE. OMLETS WERE GOOD BUT YOU HAD TO KNOW TO ORDER THEM. SOME GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. STAFF WAS ALWAYS BUSY REPLENISHING OPTIONS AND MAKING SURE EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN. VERY CLEAN HOTEL. GREAT LOCATION IN GENEVA. VERY EASY TO GET AROUND. STAFF WAS NICE ABOUT ARRANGING TAXIS.

Location, theming of hotel
Breakfast. Biggest rip off. On the 2nd morning, there is literally barely any food or drink. There were no mugs to get a hot drink, and no glasses to get a cold drink. The 'hot' food was stone cold and most items were missing, i.e pancakes, pastries, etc. They were obviously busy but only one person serving & so lots of empty dirty tables with no where to sit. We sat down and left out belongings on the only clean table which a couple 'stole' of us as only clean table - which meant me removing my belongings, including untouched plate of food, as i had gone to get a drink to no avail. For the price felt absolutely robbed as had to go straight out to eat!!

Nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Close to the lake and the train station. Wonderful breakfast.

There was a lot of confusion internally amongst the check in staff-we had paid and were told in the evening we hadn’t. Had to show them the receipt and still took some convincing . Otherwise clean room and bathroom.

Near the lake 5 mins walk
The reception staff were not helpful and the hot breakfast was hard scrambled eggs and greasy bacon
Only one member of staff was helpful and I believe he was a night porter(young male 25 years old?)
Seats outside the hotel were hard as rock
In the evening it was a meeting point for vagrants shouting and drinking within 10m of the hotel.

Hotel was, for me, located w/in walking distance to most of the things I wanted to see/visit. Room was clean and tidy. Did not eat in the restaurant.
I was just a little uncomfortable since there wasn't A/C. The hotel did provide a fan but since I was travelling with a friend, I slept on the pull out sofa (since I'm tall) and she slept on one of the twin beds...the air from the fan was directed more at one person since we were in differections.
