Location was perfect as the main reason for going was being at the Old Port. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
No complaints. Knew in advance there was no elevator and was given assistance carrying the bags which was greatly appreciated

They were doing renovations in the room next to us and they started around 6am, it was as if they were right in our room and then we lost power to just our entire loft and they couldn't figure it out for a half hour.

This is our second stay at the Lofts! My husband and I came in August to Montreal and had such a fabulous time that we brought our children and their partners back with us and took two apartments in January, as their holiday gift! So lovely, everyone was happy, the staff is so welcoming and helpful and the location couldn’t be better.

We loved the location and the size of the 2 bedroom apartment! Couldn’t ask for friendlier staff either. Our tv wasn’t working and we called and within 5 mins a staff member showed up and fixed it immediately!

The location was amazing! All the great restaurants and bars were a 2 minute walk. When visiting Old Montreal it's worth it to stay right in the action. Surprisingly, our room was so quiet. Our room was large and we loved having a king size bed, which was so comfortable. When we checked in the staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed. If (or when) we come back we would definitely stay there again. Also loved the bar on the rooftop of the hotel.
Ok, we were warned about the stairs, but sometimes it was a pain. We were on the top floor which was 5 flights up. Other that that all good!

We stayed in one of the lofts that faced the cute little alley next to the entrance to the lofts and it was so perfect! We ended up having to stay at a few hotels during our Montreal stay and this one was by far our favorite. The loft had such a charming feel to it while still being modern. And all of the furniture was super comfy! It was so centrally located that it was easy to get to everything by either walking, taking an Uber, or riding the metro. If we ever go back to Montreal, I'll be staying here for sure!
There was only one real issue which was I couldn't get the TV to work, but we had iPads and great wifi so it was no big deal and I'm sure I could have called the front desk and they would've taken care of it. The only thing for people to be aware of (which they're up front about but some may have missed) is that there aren't any elevators so depending on what floor you're on you could have quite a few stairs to walk up. We were on the sixth floor, but it really wasn't an issue for us. Someone helped carry our luggage up when we got there and I was able to carry them down myself when we left though I'm positive someone would have helped if I needed (depending on what time you're leaving). All in all, super happy and have nothing really negative to say.

It was a wonderful location in Vieux Port, lots to see, places to eat and shops. The staff were warm and friendly. I dined several times at both Gaspar (dinner) and Pincette (breakfast and lunch). The food and beverages were exceptional.
I stayed in the Lofts and my room was large, clean and inviting.
I didn’t like the entrance to the Lofts - in a separate building from the hotel by a short walk - as it was basic and was not consistent with the overall quality of the property.

The apartment and location was fabulous - with Montreal Old Town right out the door, along with restaurants, shops and sites to visit. The front desk and bellhop were VERY helpful, including getting our bags from our car to the room, and taking care of valet-parking our car. Most sites were a short walk away. The subway was just a short, pleasant walk and allowed us to get to the Expo 67 world's fair site (now a lovely, large park) and St. Joseph's Oratory. This is wonderful apartment in a great location!
Our apartment was several flights up stairs and there is no elevator. This was not a negative for us and we we were aware ahead of our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful moving our bags in, including getting our bags from the car park a block or so away.
For us, it was well worth the amenities, but be aware if climbing the stairs presents a problem for you. If it is, then the hotel rooms look like a very nice alternative.

The staff was terrific, and the loft was really nice - comfy bed, nice bathroom and kitchen, great shower, and spacious. The only negative I'd mention is that the guests upstairs had a toddler who ran back and forth constantly. It was very loud and very annoying. We told the front desk, who called them, but it didn't stop the following early morning when we were trying to sleep. We'd definitely stay again as we loved the location and the loft, but we'd probably ask for a higher floor so we don't encounter the noise again. That is the last thing we want at 7 am when we are on vacation!

Staff were awesome. They were all very nice and the valets were quick to respond to a request. The room was nice.
The stairs were a lot after a long day of walking. Also the map was not great. The location was okay, very touristy. Honestly we weren’t crazy about Montreal except the food was very good at every restaurant we ate at except one. Uber is VERY expensive.

First we did not stay at the Lofts! The reception staff where you must checkin recognized that the Lofts property associated with Auberge du Vieux-Port was not appropriate for us. The Lofts property is supposedly excellent but there is no elevator and we were not able to use the stairs many times per day. They provided us with a room within the hotel. The facilities are outstanding and the staff might just be the friendliest, resourceful and accommodating we have ever encountered.
Walk ability to the port is the best.
When advertising the Lofts it must be noted it is without an elevator.
Auberge du Vieux-Port cannot be faulted

The bed in our loft was like sleeping on a cloud. Our loft had a small kitchen and laundry machines available. Would be great for an extended stay. The valet service included carrying our suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs to our loft. The staff at the desk were very helpful and informative.
