The evening check-in clerk was inadequate and incompetent with her unwelcoming attitude because the card machine and WIFI were out of order. She asked for a $100 cash deposit to allow me to register. Because I had only $75 she suggested I go find an ATM machine, a 5 minute drive up the road. When I returned with the cash she said she need the entire amount for the 5 day booking. I challenged that and she accepted the $100 and gave me a key pass to a room.
Six months ago I stayed at this location for 3 days and had a great experience. I am 80 years old, had just driven 3 hours and was tired. If it had been earlier in the day I would have gone elsewhere.
Fortunately the rest of my stay made up for this initial encounter because the maintenance staff there are friendly and accommodating.
The WIFI did not work all week.

Staff was little ok
Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve had. We booked a room for six people (four adults and two children), but what we were given was completely misleading and inadequate. The room only had two beds, and even those were in terrible condition—very wobbly, unstable, and making loud creaking noises every time someone moved or even sat down. They were so uncomfortable that it was nearly impossible to sleep.
To make matters worse, there were not enough pillows provided, and the room itself was not properly cleaned upon arrival, which made the experience even more unpleasant.
Because the beds were unusable for more than one person each, four of us had no choice but to sleep on the bare floor—and even that was uncomfortable enough that no one got any proper rest. The entire night was a struggle.
This stay felt like a complete waste of money and caused a lot of unnecessary discomfort and frustration. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families expecting basic accommodations and honesty in booking.
