We've stayed at the Pinnacle in the past and it's been fine, good location, fair value. This trip was awful. Poor service, did not get the room we paid for, manager refused to compensate us for their failure to deliver what we paid for.
We booked and paid for a "premium" room that was supposed to be above the 11th floor and with a balcony. They put us on the 8th floor and no balcony. When we contacted guest services about the mistake they gave us the run around, then contacted the manager who refused to give us the room we booked. They offered no compensation or rate reduction. We found the staff rude, not friendly or helpful. Will never stay there again.

Disappointing
The room size, bed, and bathroom were good. The location is also good, close to the convention centre.
Free wifi is 100% unprotected and slow. A requested kettle (had to call 3 times!) was cheap and shorted the electricity, including my coffeemaker. I was offered a free cup of tea in the restaurant (halleluyah, what a great gift) for the inconvenience. Front staff didn't ask me how my stay was upon checkout. I found left behind clothes from a previous traveller and unclean surfaces in my room. The 'bones' are good, the rest is not.
