I loved the location of this hotel. Everything was walking distance and we enjoyed discovering this part of Vancouver! Beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed for our child. Great quality! Good bathroom, great amenities.
We had a room that only had one window in the bedroom part. It felt a bit tucked in when sitting in the living room area. But I guess we got a good deal on Booking and this was the room we paid for. If you like light and a more spacious feeling, do yourself a favor and book a different type of room.

Interior design and decor was pleasing and suited a boutique hotel
Thought they indicated they had an indoor pool it was in fact a user agreement with the YWCA next door which made it inconvenient

We enjoyed our stay and lovely breakfast at alouette.
I found the heat/cooling a bit hard to regulate in the room.
The front desk staff could be a bit friendlier/warmer for a nice hotel like this at these prices.

We loved this hotel. It is beautiful. Has a very cool old world feel. We also loved the restaurant, Alouette Bistro. We sat up at the bar both days and had so much fun. The staff there are also fantastic.

Excellent location, within walking distance to Vancouver Convention Centre.
There is a nice French restaurant, Alouette, connected to the hotel.

I really like the decor in the hotel. Most of all I’m very impressed with the Personnel in every department for their friendly , personable & professional service. This includes Front desk, Housekeeping & Room Service. Special treatment of a lady in our part who was celebrating a landmark Birthday.
The cost of a parking space is high; $48.
