Perfect location, close to beaches, food, the best.
A bit noisy on a Friday night but that owes more to the bustling, desirable neighborhood than the hotel. If you want a quieter experience consider asking for a room on the back of the building.

Parking was sketchy , the bar downstairs (thought it was a restaurant but it was karaoke and open mic night or something ) and outside nightlife kept us up all night ..

Room was clean, bathroom recently renovated, very comfortable bed and pillows.
Noise from people partying on Davie St was overwhelming on Friday and Saturday nights. Hotel needs new sealed windows for better soundproofing.

Good location and view nice windows weren’t fogged up because they are so old
Wish there was some sort of complementary breakfast. The coffee machine in room didn’t work. Wasn’t impressed of the hidden fee of the parking. For the extra parking fee of 30 dollars a day I would have just stays somewhere else with breakfast and parking.
The windows are old and thin so there was always wet fog on them so could rarely see outside

Wonderful
This is the second time we've stayed here and we love the location! Right across the street from Stanley Park and tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops right next door. The parking is excellent - you can self park (for an additional charge) and access your car day and night whenever you need it - a real bonus in this neighborhood.
The lobby area is small so there really isn't any good place to hang out. We got a room with a balcony which was kind of pointless in January since it was cold and raining! I'd certainly get a balcony room in the summer but in the rainy/cold weather time of year, save your money.

The location was perfect. So close to the beach.
The place was a little run down. Generally it was clean but the room and the facility have seen better days. There was also a rodent trap in our room.
