Very Poor
Nothing
Being charged back on my debit card for a hole in the wall , that was there before , 560 dollars taken from bank a week later , we waited as a walk through was done prior to check out , absolutely disgusting, after spending thousands of dollars working downtown , staying here

Nothing much to like. This is very basic hotel and you only know after you book. This is built in 1950s and hard to renovate and upkeep.Parking is free which is plus point
Typical Smell in old style rooms.Very small rooms ,I will say staying in an hostel is better than this if you don't need parking.

Wonderful
Retro, vintage feel. A little bit of old Vancouver still left in new Vancouver

Good
I was traveling alone with dogs. I appreciated the greenspace to walk them and the lighting at night. The history of the motel was interesting and as a single female I felt safe there.
The dogs I had were 8 and 4lbs. I thought $30 extra per dog was a bit expensive.

Very Good
Everything was clean and the shower got warm quickly.
The bed wasn't super comfortable, and the room was a little chilly occasionally, but there was an extra space heater provided which made up for it.

Fair
Location being out of downtown
Needed updates and remodeling. Update your appliances. Refrigerator door seal coming off. After dark feeling unsafe because of people who were not staying there hanging around. When I arrived there was a man smoking drugs on the picnic table nearby. Did not have the all the things stated in your ad

Very Good
Roomy, nostalgic, close to family, easy parking.
Young guests may not like the dated electrical system for their devices, but the motel acknowledges this in its information. We were fine with it.
