Good location
The room smelled pungent. It was clear bleach had been used but the smell was strong and there overpowering. Compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in in Canada, staff weren’t as welcoming or helpful— frequently not at desk and would take long to answer the front door. The facilities were quite run down though worked fine. Given the low price I suppose you get what you pay for!

Second visit to Hi Kelowna. It was a busy weekend in Kelowna with the Apple Triathlon on over the Saturday and Sunday and the hostel was full. Enjoyed my time again in the 4 bed female dorm all the girls were lovely, considerate and thoughtful. The bathrooms were clean, and the facilities in the kitchen and dining room were good. The staff were cheerful and very helpful.

Amazing location.
I had a private room. The pillows and blankets were really smelly. Room was tiny and bathrooms were disgusting. This is not worth 156$/night. Parking could have been provided but no they need to charge more.

The location is good
While I was aware that it is a hostel, it is beyond uncomfortable for the inflated price. The double bed was a small double and practically a cot and the bathroom in the room looked like someone had just used it.

Clean, friendly, spacious and amazing proximity to the town centre and beaches.
The hosts were attentive and helpful. I arrived early and was able to relax and use the kitchen and dining area and get onto their wifi.
The beds were a bit old and squeaky, but the sheets were clean. Large lockers in the room. I was in a 4 bed female dorm which felt comfortable and secure. Good air-conditioning in bedrooms and throughout the hostel.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and the water was hot. Towels are free.
There was a great outdoor seating and eating area.
Be aware the hostel takes a CA$100 breakages fee which is returnable.
