The outdoor pool and the grounds around the pool are well kept. The location is great also. The price is good too.
We drove 9 hours from alberta. I had called days before the reservation just to confirm as it was booked through bookings.com . They didn't have it in their system yet at the hotel but the man I spoke with said he would input it. When we arrived days later and went to check in the lady said she didn't have our reservation. Luckily there was a room for us
Luckily? Considering I already called to.confirn days prior I was not very pleased. The room was not clean. The phone was under the couch off the hook sitting next to a few dead spiders. We asked for a broom so we could clean ourselves I also bought lysol wipes. The male supervisor at the hotel was very nice and apologized for all of the issues.

Rooms are very dated, ceiling fans were very dirty and the room had sugar ants in the bathroom and the beds

I like having a full kitchen in the room - definitely helps save on some expenses when travelling as a family of 5. The number of beds in the room was also great, 2 double beds, 1 single bed, and a pull out couch. Beds were fine for comfort - but I was expecting queen beds. Bedding was clean. There was a stand fan in the room too which was a small added bonus. The main room was air conditioned, and it was able to keep the room comfortable, and even a bit cold when it was +35 degrees outside. The outdoor pool was a massive hit for my kids - I think if it was up to them this would be the only place we stay ever. Staff was friendly overall and came to help me with the wifi when I couldn't get it to work.
This cleanliness was terrible, the place is definitely old and run down, not terribly well maintained. The pool (although very clean water) was chipping away and very uneven, the chlorine levels seemed a bit high, but I did see staff checking the chemical levels and cleaning the pool in the morning. The floors in the room were very dirty, you can tell they don't mop them, and the bathtub had no drain plug so my kids could only shower, and the faucet in the tub dripped constantly and the green calcium deposit build-up in the tub drain was nauseating - my husband even bought CLR to try to clear it out a little.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. I didn't want to touch anything, especially the doors or floors. There was hair in the bathroom when I arrived and I am not confident the bedding was clean. The door could not open fully as it hit a bed. The area is super sketchy and did not feel safe. I woke up early and checked out before 7 am.

Disappointing
The outdoor pool was by far the best feature. There is no slide, however it was a good location from the room, in which the kids were able to meet other kids and have fun.
We initially booked a room with a kitchenette. However we did not get this the first night. We were moved the second day. In the second room, the stove did not work. Upon further inspection none of the stove top burners were connected. The TV did not work, and there were a number of lights burnt out. Maintenance came the following day and fixed the stove, however please note it did not appear safe as the cabling was quite burnt. The TV did not work the entire time. We were informed by a family we had met that they had bed bugs, in which they did show us pictures. Therefore we checked our respective room and did not find any. Also note that the indoor pool and hot tub were not available. We were informed they were under maintenance. The water was green, which does not happen over night. This is a lengthy process to turn the water green. It seems maintenance was not a re-occurring theme on the indoor pool. Also the site my wife used to book informed us there was a gym. This was also written on the building. However there is no gym. The person at the front desk was unaware of this, and blamed an old website, and the old owners. On top of that the communal BBQ's were a little dodgy. The one BBQ, had a lid that fell off, and did not light properly. When it did light it set the BBQ on fire. The bigger BBQ next to the pool took a great deal to light. One family took 30 mins trying to light the BBQ. The place has potential, but needs to have a major over hall.

you would expect a decent place based on the location, but this place caters to homeless and low income people.
this place is dirt, run down borderline scan based on the price. If you have to choose between here and sleeping in your car. go with your car.

Nothing.... it's bad
The resort is a total farce... the pics online are very good at hiding the yuckiness of this place... we paid for a kitchenette and didnt get it.. then they put us in a room on the backside and it was absolutely nasty.. the pile.of branches garbage right in the view outside the window... and it's not cheap.. it should be a 99$ a night max joint forsure.. do not recommend...
