The rooms are clean and funky with new decor and the location is right downtown at the park!
It is very loud and alot of people party all night long which even with ear plugs it can be difficult. We had people running up and down the hallway

I did not know there was breakfast or we would have come down for that.
What could have been better? Hmm. The parking. The spaces are just too small. Everyone was squeezed in like sardines in a can. I appreciate the goal of getting as many in as possible but there is a cost to that.

The bright colours. Big comfy bed. The goodies on the board. The amenities and rollerblades you can borrow. Just an amazing place to stay!

It looked cool
We called in and stated how we did not have a credit card. They said we could leave a deposit and they do it all the time. Once we came in the girl looked us up and down and said they can't do a deposit for us. We got a friend's credit card and she seemed disappointed like she didn't want us staying there. We are heavily tattooed. We did the transaction and left. We came back to take pictures in the lobby. As we where taking the pictures she was checking in a few people and let them check in with a deposit and no credit card. We where 100% profiled on the way we looked. Such disgusting behavior.

Room was clean and comfortable, great location.
They allow pets and the dog next to us was left unattended in the room and it was howling and barking waking us up. Horrible sleep. They need to explain to guests that they cannot leave their pets unattended, and when they do they should call them back immediately and charge them a fee.

The location was fantastic. The parking, although busy and quite tight for space, was good. The noise level were very good, apart from one night where a visitor played very loud music in a car, for a short length of time. The system of 'house cleaning' was very useful (magnet placed on door to say 'not required')
The room smelled of 'wet dogs' - at times very unpleasant, depending on how long we put the air conditioning on for. The front desk staff, on arrival were very brief, borderline curt. They didn't smile at all - not particulalrly welcoming

Coffee not available in the room and Lobby coffee could be better. Use Real Cream instead of coffee mate

Really cool rooms and building with some great and unique amenities. Fantastic location
If I t is loud outside you can hear it in your room. But overall want unbearable noise from the streets. Though I could see it being more of an issue perhaps on a busy weekend when people are out later and are louder on the street.
There is no elevator. This would have been good to know ahead of time in case you have a lot of luggage (like myself in the process of moving across the province) or mobility issues and are staying on the second floor.

We loved the theme of this hotel. The funky colours and extra touches to detail were noticed. The kitchenette was very well set up and clean. This location was amazing for walking to many activities, it is located right next to the park and beach. We also loved that the streets were blocked off for the entertainment and eateries close by. It was a fun experience all around and we would definitely stay there again.
Hot tub was on the cooler side. Maybe add more places in the room to hang swimsuits and towels? Everything else was amazing!
