The view of the lake, the lights and the chocolate layer gnache cake were fabulous!!!
The blinds were not blackout, much to our surprise, as we were on our honeymoon and were visible from the outside looking into our accommodations.

The yards
That there were water stains in the bathroom on the door, the floors had crumbs all over. The carpet in the hall is like a rag. Which I get that they are trying to keep it old looking but you can buy new carpet that looks antique. The tub had quite a few hairs in it. We couldnt find any one at the front desk in the morning. The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice. The robes were a nice touch.

Love the lakeside location, the character and quality of the rooms, the convenience of the excellent restaurant and the gym. Staff is great. I think this is my 5th visit and plan to stay here next time were in town.
I didnt know that we had to check in at the neighbouring Manteo, but it wasnt difficult. Would have been a little smoother to have the information in advance so we could have stopped on the way to the other parking lot.

It is a beautiful .spot with lovely views. Very comfortable beds. Very clean rooms.
The check in and out desk closed at 7pm and no one there Saturday morning. I had to go to the neighboring hotel to check in or out. Which isn't convenient.

Wonderful
I had a great 1 night stay. Parking and check in were easy and staff was very friendly. The king room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast the next morning was very good, with views out over the lake. I would definitely stay again.
