The location and the mattress were the best !
We ordered breakfast in room, specifically mentioned peanut allergy - and they brought us tray with jams and peanut butter!
I was shocked - the restaurant clerk DID ask me during the order””: “ any allergies?”
And apparently did not take any actual notes .

The renovated rooms are nice but not fairmont nice- the bathrooms have cheap poorly done renos
Everything is dated. The lobby was filthy and old- the carpet needs to be steam cleaned or replaced- it did not give off the grand opulence vibes you’d expect of a fairmont but old rundown and not cared for. The Christmas tree was also incredibly dated and poorly decorated.
