Great location for the price – close to major shopping and right off the highway. Surprisingly quiet considering it’s right beside the highway; I only heard sirens a couple of times. It’s also close to plenty of restaurants, with both Denny’s and Chop attached to the building. You can even order room service from Denny’s to your room. The rooms themselves are updated, comfortable, and made for a pleasant stay.
The TV was disappointing – it wasn’t a smart TV and I couldn’t access any channels. The room itself only had one small garbage can in the bathroom, which wasn’t very convenient. Location-wise, it’s about 30 minutes from downtown by car, but if you don’t mind taking the LRT, the nearest station is just a 10-minute ride away.

The location was 20-25mins from UofA Botanical Gardens, Muttart Conservatory, and the Zoo. Perfect for our trip. Having Denny’s and Chop attached added huge convenience and the food was excellent at both restaurants. Loved the morning coffee bar in the lobby.
