Location was excellant. Staff were friendly.
The fire alarm that went off at 1 am. By the time we reached the lobby from the 7th floor via the staircase we were told it was a false alarm. Also, 1 elevator was out of service which made for some long waits. Also people in the lobby bumming money or cigarettes.

Bed was too soft for me but that is a personal choice. Unfortunately the second elevator was not functioning so that was frustrating. Hope repairs are done by now
Perhaps not related to the hotel but it was frustrating that the restaurant was closed. Again, I hope it reopens soon

The room itself was mostly good. Comfortable enough. Bathroom was quite good.
Everything else about this hotel was terrible. The staff seemed to be doing their best with a bad situation.
Only one elevator was operational, and it was extremely small. Stairs are only allowed in an emergency.
The restaurant was closed so no breakfast.
Their pre-booking system was down so I had to reenter everything.
Our room was right next to the elevator so there was noise from that constantly. And the blackout curtains had a gap right where some light could come in.
And then there was a fire alarm at 1am.
On top of all of this, the room was expensive. I expected much better.

My recent stay at the Ramada in Edmonton was, unfortunately, an experience I won't soon forget – all for the wrong reasons. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a scene that was far from welcoming, with garbage piled in the hallways that had clearly been left there for days. This set the tone for my three-night stay.
The cleanliness of the hotel was simply unacceptable. The carpets throughout the property were filthy, and the floors were sticky. The hallway near my room emitted an unpleasant odor reminiscent of cat spray. It was hard to shake the feeling of being in a neglected environment. To make matters worse, there were piles of towels left strewn about the hall, which added to the overall disheveled appearance of the place.
In our executive room, the condition of the furniture was particularly disappointing. The chair was shredded, presumably by cat claws. The walls were dirty, and there were smears on the mirrors that had obviously not been attended to. It felt as though the room had seen better days – many, many days ago.
I had hoped for a more pleasant experience, but I felt trapped due to the busy weekend and the fact that I had already paid for my stay. I would have otherwise checked out early.
Overall, my experience at Ramada Edmonton was gross and unacceptable. I strongly recommend seeking alternative accommodations if you value cleanliness and comfort. This was a disappointing stay that did not meet even the most basic expectations of a hotel.
