Location is great, complimentary breakfast was awesome
No parking except valet which costs a lot on top of expensive room. Renovations were not disclosed and the hotel in in bad repair. Needs a lot of work for the price they charge. No noise cancellation in rooms from bars down the street. No sleep till 3 am

The location was great if you are interested in all that is going on close to the University. That was why we booked it. The ear plugs were a great idea, we used them due to traffice noise outside.
Our room was hot. No window to open and the screen door was sealed which made if very difficult to have cool down the room. It was constantly 22 or higher because the thermostat did not work, no AC just heat.

Large comfy room. Big and nice massage shower and bathroom. Great breakfast.
Windows were too thin on the street-view room, so there was a lot of noise from the streets, even on the 7th floor!

Great location for events,valet parking makes check in nice and easy especially after driving all day to get there,breakfast is included and although a buffet is warm,fresh and good selection,front desk staff were warm and inviting and made check in fast and easy
No pool or sauna/hot tub on site is the only negative I can think of which to most isn't an issue

Whyte Ave is CRAZY on Saturday nights!
It wasnt loud in the room but getting down the street was brutal in all the traffic. Edmontons own Marduk Gras in a 2 block radius.

Loved that we could open the balcony door for fresh air, beds were comfortable and breakfast included was great! Bottle of water and ear plugs were a nice touch.
It was very warm in the fitness room, someone (housecleaning?) tried to enter our room without knocking before we checked out.

Location is perfect. Wander up and down Whyte Avenue. Many restaurants and bars within a block or two.
If you have a vehicle, parking can be tricky. Limited spots out front or unload. However hotel offers valet parking at reasonable rates and theyre very quick to bring your vehicle around.
