Location was great. My dog was very welcome. Staff was kind. Breakfast was good. The dining area was very nice
I didn’t love that the car park was a block and half away. Can’t do much about that in this area. I managed.

Location, cleanliness.
The website claims free parking, and that is absolutely not the case. Flat out lie. There are three spaces out front where you can opt for $26 per day valet parking. However, several times I had to circle the block numerous times (with a crowded street of cars and party goers) before being able to get to those spots. And several times that I just simply couldn’t get into those spots and so parked on the street right behind it, and the staff gave me a hard time about not parking between the poles meant for valet parking, even though those spots were clearly full. And for the valet parking, you need a full 30 to 45 minutes notice to the staff. If you opt to park in their parking garage by yourself, it is several blocks away and is still $21 per day. I feel strongly that you need to take that “free parking“ off your site!
Coffee/tea was not available outside of breakfast hours, which was sort of a bummer. I have not been to a hotel before that did not provide these.

The windows opened to freshen the smell of the room. The neighborhood had a farmers market and lots of shopping / dining, plus it felt safe and was very walkable. The included breakfast included hot dishes. There were many other diners and few tables available.
Room was dated and smelled musty. The location of the TV screen prevented viewing from the bed or from the chairs.

Awesome location -a bit dated but super funky.
Make sure you ask for a room facing away from Whyte Avenue to cut down on the city noise.

Fantastic location close to some great restaurants and shops within walking distance. A great part of town, in fact! Facilities were great and the complimentary breakfasts were a great start to the day. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Best hotel on our six week holiday to date!

location, and free breakfast was good
great hotel, but old, but they advertise balcony rooms, charge extra, they don't have balconies, they do not they are locked, you can't open them, no smoking hotel, which is fine, but you can normally smoke on a balcony or enjoy the view, how is it right to charge extra, and not give you access to a balcony???? Also so many drug addicts, but I guess that's all of Edmonton
