Wonderful
The place was clean with friendly staff, they were very flexible and helpful whenever I needed to make changes to my stay or whenever I needed to get a service from the reception. The place is close to so many restaurants and bus stops which is convenient for anyone new in town. It's also very close to downtown and almost everything is within walking distance.

Comfortable and clean, beautiful equipped kitchen and lots of various common and study areas for most travelling needs! Very top notch hostel! I would revisit 100% Hot and clean little showers in the separate shared bathrooms, comfy beds and pillows and the towels provided were soft and nice too.
Hallways can be a little noisy, but hostel protocol is to bring headphones anyways, and if you forget, the front desk give you free earplugs. Also send a note if you'll be arriving late as there is a need to have your keycard if you will be needing entrance to the building after 11pm.

Nice neighborhood, proximity to Whyte Ave, cheap laundry, budget friendly accommodations.
Staff seemed cold, no privacy, snoring dorm mates. Had to use ear plugs to block it out. The dorm room didn't fully close; you have to apply firm pressure to close it. The water dispenser in the kitchen isn't cold, mediocre, and highly used utensils and kitchenware. I ordered food throughout my stay. Also, the vending machines are overpriced, and the washrooms are smelly. The establishment doesn't accommodate individuals with an Edmonton ID. However, in my instance, they made an exception.

The staff were brilliant and the facilities and place itself great. They had an activity board with suggestions for every day of the week. I was there in the off season so there was plenty of space. They have laundry facilities and different areas to relax which I think is brilliant.
Cooking gear could do with an update (pots & pans etc) as they're pretty beat up and not all functional. The breakfast options were very limited even for a hostel. Still a great place for the price and happy to go back. These shouldn't be deal breakers for anyone.

It was clean, beds are comfortable. Stuff was helpful and kind.
Room temperature was on the warmer side. Didn't get a great sleep just because the other two guys came in later, but I'm a pretty light sleeper to, so it's not the greatest environment for me.
