We liked the breakfast, the location and the bed its king so it was confortable
I didnt like the cleaning, we went out all day and when we came back, we had the same sheets and blanket. The bed was still messy, it was no cleaning this day. Besides, there was stains on the curtains and on some sheets, I understand that stains don't come off in the wash, but the least you can do is throw them away and not reuse them. Its cheap for customers. otherwise everything is good

When we checked in, the TV didn't work and we got an upgrade without asking. Staff were cheerful and friendly.
The windows were dirty, inside and outside. There was a pool, but no hot tub.

Disappointing
* The decor was modern and inviting.
* The pool temperature was decent, and the climate therein was warm. Cleanliness was another issue altogether, but that matters little to children, of course.
* The television included streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube.
* The young lady who greeted us on Wednesday evening was very sweet.
* The manager did credit us approximately 20% for inconveniences we experienced.
* The smell of chlorine upon entering the hotel was overwhelming. Anyone who is familiar with how pools work knows that this means the pool is unlikely to be clean. Google "strong chlorine smell in pools" for more information.
* The room we were initially given was very dirty and did not meet Marriot standards whatsoever. The windowsills were filthy, the carpet left dark marks on my socks, the shower had mildew build up, and the toilet was not cleaned. Unfortunately, I also noticed small blood spots on the quilt as well. I brought this to the managers attention the next day, to which he apologized and moved us to a different room and credited me approximately 20% of our stay. While I appreciated the gesture, it was very inconvenient to move our stuff to another room, which faced the road and was quite noisy.
* I had requested a late checkout and was given until 1pm. However, upon further inspection of my reservation, booking already lists the checkout time as 1pm, not 12, as the manager stated. When I messaged them via the booking app about this discrepancy, my concern was unanswered.
* The breakfast left much to be desired. The bacon and sausage were light in color, and the coffee was average. There wasn't much of a selection, and other guests remarked at how the attendant on Friday seemed to be rushing everyone so he could clean it up, even 10 minutes before it was supposed to end.
* The first aid kit in the pool was empty, so when my daughter scraped herself in the pool, I had to ask the lady at the front desk (Thursday) for alcohol swabs. She claimed they didn't have any, and bandaid were all she could offer. As someone who works in public health, I am aware that establishments are required to carry a proper first aid kit, including alcohol wipes. Luckily, we found a sanitizing wipe, which sufficed.
Overall, the stay was okay.

Disappointing
What I dont like about the property is lack of communication. I booked this hotel from august 11 to 14 on booking.com and was supposed to be charged 665 plus 60 in taxes for a total of $725. Some how on my visa 930 dollar charge which hasnt reversed yet. That is 205 dollars Im still waiting for to appear back on my card which hasnt yet.

We're two disappointing things were the breakfast. There was no oatmeal, very little and no frozen fruits. The bread was very plain, even the whole wheat bread. The gym was not great. There were very few tiny weights, two weights of 5 pounds and only one weight of 10 pounds, and I cant remember if they had 15 or it skipped to 20, but they should be restuck at most minuscule two consequences for each. Other than it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful
Breakfast was very good, variety of items, staff was attentive and did a great job. Check in and check out was quick and I liked how an itemized receipt was emailed to us. The location is handy to shops and restaurants and we especially liked the quietness even though the hotel is on a main street. We liked everything.
No complaints.
