Staff was very friendly. The gym was nicely equipped compared to a lot of other hotels. There is a pool and hot tub with washrooms right at the pool. Down the hallway is complimentary coffee, tea, and soup daily, as well as mini golf set up!
Had people outside asking us for money. It’s about 30 minutes to downtown where my appointment was for this trip.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and polite.
Our kids were in a tournament all weekend and when we went for breakfast we were going to take the food up to the kids to have before we left so they could finish getting ready and the gentleman at the buffet told us we couldn’t hey the let the lady in front of us take food upstairs to her children. We were not happy and because of that we ended up leaving and buying the kids breakfast elsewhere on the way to their tournament. This was money that should never have been spent. You can not let one and not the others.
There must of been a birthday or wedding going on because at 2 am the music was still so loud that the kids were awake not able to sleep to be ready for their day in the tournament. I had earphones in and could still hear the music over my own.

This was our first time staying there and we really enjoyed, we have a 2 years old and we felt very comfortable.
This was by far the best hotel we stayed as a family, very family oriented.
The only thing we missed was not having a bath in our room, we stayed in the presidential room.

The location was about the only thing that was enjoyable being that it was close to the West Edmonton mall.
So first off the lady at the desk, check me in said my room number out loud I checked in by myself. My family was in the car with my husband and my kids. There could’ve been anybody sitting in the lobby or walking around listening for a room number of a young woman travelling potentially by herself. My safety was put at risk by whatever young girl had checked me in. Absolutely unacceptable. Next we were told they were slushy. We were never told it was closed at 8 PM we went at 9 PM. They gave us the cups when we asked we went didn’t work asked again. Why did they inform us that it closes at eight like why are you offering something and then not telling people it properly when it’s available also, why is it not just available at all times?. we asked for extra pillows because we were travelling with our two young children and we wanted to make sure they were safe on the bed by talking them in with the current pillows in our room so we asked for extra pillows in the evening and we were told there were no more pillows that hotel was out of pillows. How is that even possible? Are you telling me that every single room in that hotel would’ve been booked up and you couldn’t have gone to get pillows from a different room? The blankets while there were no blankets very thin sheets throw style blankets. There was hair in the bathroom there was something in chipped or what not in the bathtub. There was no bathmat in the bathroom and when I took a shower myself, I nearly slipped because it was so slippery in that shower in the bathtub. People are here with their families and their children and their babies and there’s no SAFEWAY to take a shower. Then to top it all off the breakfast that we had seen online where they were waffles and like plenty of different options was nothing more than bagels toast box cereal some apples, and bananas, and muffins that were made very clearly out of a cake mix. There was no real food there there were no options and some yogurts.
