Everything was clean and the rooms are roomy.
Restaurant wasn't open early but we managed. Road construction was a pain but we came in the back way, I've stayed here quite a few times.

Everything was great as always. I stay here often, really like it. Love that I can bring my dog and the hotel is so home feeling.
A/c on ceiling in room 230 wouldn't shut off and only 1 night stand.

The staff were kind and helpful.
This property is outdated and could use a revamp. The colours in the hotel room could be changed as the red carpet and red walls are horrendous together. The taps in the bathroom sink were wobbly, closet door handles are crooked, and the TV could be updated to a smart TV. There is a mysterious stain in one of the elevators. I also recommend adding a comfier chair to the king room. The chair was leaning far too back and not comfy at all.

I didnt have breakfast but we had supper the first night we were there. The service in the lounge for the 11 of us was exceptional. The food was also excellent and the waitress was outstanding in her service patience and kindness. Thank you to her for a great hostessing expereince.
I have stayed many times at the Chateau Nova. It is an excellent hotel even now but I can see signs of little maintenance issues that should be taken care of before guests arrive. Of course maintenance is always an issue in any property rental long or short term. I just got the impression things might be sliding a little bit in the maintenance of the rooms and facilities. I hope this is attended to because I think it is a very good hotel and I like staying at the Chateau Nova. We have always maintained that the pillows are too hard. So this time we brought our own pillows from home.
