I like the rooms at Yellowhead Chateau Nova. They are spacious and have good amenities. The beds are comfortable, always have a good sleep.
This is not normal, but the door to the room opened up and stayed open all day while we were away. We are sure that we heard it slap close behind us, but it must have bounced back open. It was freaky to come back to an open door. The next morning, I informed the manager, and she came up to see if anyone had entered the room. No one entered the room. and she is having a maintenance check on the door.

The room was beautiful. I booked that room specifically to watch the Oilers game with friends. I would not have booked a suite otherwise.
The TV in the sitting area didn't work. The gentleman who came to fix it was wonderful. He really tried to get it up and running for the game. Unfortunately, we had to leave and went to Moxies. Also, the pillows were so hard, I had to use a sofa cushion.

Bad transport links to city centre without a car. Uber was cheap enough though.

Front Desk reception was kind enough to let me check in sooner than normal, as I had just come from a funeral. The person was exceptionally kind and patient with me as my credit card and debit cards wouldn't work in the moment.
Too short a stay. My room was wonderful and it would have been nice to stay longer and enjoy using it. Definitely plan on being a repeat customer if I visit Edmonton again.

Location and Staff are good. Restaurant and lounge on site. Parking adequate. Pet friendly. 1 pet free if AMA member.
Back side of hotel was noisy because of Yellowhead traffic. Slow elevator. Low flush toilets suck.
