The rooms werent clean. We found illegal drugs and paraphernalia in our room and I was travelling with 4 young kids

all in all it was a great location as the Royal Alex is just a short drive away,
The staff in the restaurant could be more understanding as we were treated poorlly

Great spot.
Its obviously being left to die a slow death. Obvious damages ( water, wear & tear furniture carpet s walls , doors) all worn ,outdated and are white the facility DOES keep hotel clean and functional, it is apparent there will not be/ has not been any upgrades or replacements. I am guessing it will be sold soon or demolished completely, but will not last much longer without significant repair and upgrades.
I will continue to stay there until it goes. Good people. Good location. Fair prices are reflected by outdated amenities. Minor charge for my dog to stay. Decent security. Does not pretend its a 5 star, but is honest and open in its presentation.

They couldnt find my reservation and we ended up in a what I assume was a handicap room based on the height of the furniture, light switches and the medical chair in the shower (no bath tub) next to a barking dog in another room.

The restaurant lounge and the small building are quiet. But the pillows were hard. Some things like the shower curtian, etc, need to be updated. But other than that, it was peaceful
The high price for a room that needs updating.

The room was clean and neat. And the place is comfortable to stay.
When I was about to check in late at night 9th of April, the front desk lady was kinda rude and didn't give clear directions to where my room was. I found it confusing as a first timer guest and had no idea of the area. But good thing, there was an approachable and nice lady from the dining area that directed me to where the building is.
