Location, view of the river was fantastic
The hotel rooms did not seem to be updated lately in the bathrooms particularly. The hairdryer outlet did not work well etc.

Comfortable, very clean, location, view
If one doesn't eat the normal hot North America affair the rest of the breakfast is a joke. Sad looking fruit, no pastry, no cheese and I had to get grumpy to get a decaf coffee.

The rooms are very outdated. Our credit cards were charged multiple times for our stay, it was ridiculous to be honest.

Great view of the river
Hotel is in such an awkward intersection which makes it hard to get in and out. The guy directing parking was telling over sized trucks they’d fit in the underground parade. Our roof hit the ceiling, guy behind us had to back out of the garage. Then was told by that same man he wasn’t told he would fit. Which was a lie. It was too chaotic of a parking situation and staff need to be better at learning what “6’7” means. The garage is clearly not 6’7 lol.

Underground parking in the downtown gives sense of security. The staff are lovely and the facility is nicely kept. Rooms are clean and views of the river valley are great.
Hotel is very dated - nothing specifically wrong witht the hotel or room, just not a modern facility.

I used the hotel ahead of the Edmonton City Marathon.
It is really close to the expo and start/finish line. I liked the ambience of the hotel and the city views.
