They give me a room that someone previously smoked in there, I need to ask to switch because I have allergies. The second room doesn't have a fridge and the hotel was very old.

Great location. Close to DT and Commonwealth Stadium. We were in Edmonton for The Weeknd concert, so could just walk to the arena.
Not very convenient mattress on king bed.
Slow internet. It was barely making 3mbps in our room.
No parking included in the facilities. We were on electrical car, and there is no chance of charging it in the area

Great view of the river from this round hotel. Gym had treadmills, universal gym, and free weights. Location was only about three blocks from the Edmonton Convention Centre which was handy. Front desk staff were excellent. La Ronde Restaurant gave great circle tour of river and city views.

Room does not have USB charger ports - bring a charging block. Telephone in room doesn't seem to dial the front desk or housekeeping. Facility has restaurants (with limited hours) but does not have room service. Lounge/restaurant has spectacular views and food/drinks are a fair value. Location is exceptional, especially for the cost. I booked for location and was not disappointed.
Lack of modern amenities.

I liked that it was only a $50 deposit. I liked that the cat deposit was only $30. I didn't like paying $25 for parking. Plus the room was already somewhat expensive at $160 ish. All the add-ons felt like I was being nickeled and dimed. Hard to find my way out of the maze parkade. It was comfortable and cleanly and I enjoyed my room view and the Bellamy restaurant view, but not much to do, I was bored in my room. I think if the rate was slightly cheaper it would have more guests.
