Great accommodation at a friendly price! The location is perfect — just a 6–8 minute walk to downtown Canmore, 2 minutes to the bus stop to Banff, and close to a grocery store. Even though there’s no AC, it’s not a big deal because the weather is cool and there’s a heater. The view is absolutely stunning, especially in the morning when you can see the Three Sisters Mountain glowing orange. Everything is very clean, with daily housekeeping and free soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer provided. Highly recommended!

There were two remote controls for the TV. I couldn’t select programs that I was looking for. It was ROTU that confused me.

Good sized room, two good beds, decent bathroom, great view (given upgrade to this room), good TV with full channels, day manager was helpful and pleasant
- We arrived three hours before check in. Unexpected snow/cold snap, so not pleasant to wander around while waiting. Manager told us that she could likely have our room available earlier, and she would call us when it was ready. Staff was changing shift at that point, but both front desk workers where there at that moment. Two hours later, no call. We were cold and decided to just go wait in the small office/lobby. When we got there, we asked and the worker said, oh yes, your room is ready. We mentioned we had been waiting for a call, and she just said, "Oh". No apology or reason.
- cold weekend, only one blanket in the closet - asked for another one (two people/beds), and was told, "The bed has a quilt, You'll be fine", didn't receive the requested blanket (it was office closing time). The "quilt" was thin. We slept in sweaters.
- because of sudden snow, the outside stairway was icy and railing was snow covered, difficult for a senior with her bag. No assistance with bags is provided. Stairs should have been cleaned off. Later, we discovered a second stairway that was covered (still outside), that was safer and easier. Staff did not point this out to us for safety, and it wasn't obvious.
- asked to leave our backpacks while waiting for our room, and they said yes, but just to leave our bags in the small lobby area, unsecured (staff close by)
- the restaurant/bar was closed for renovations, so no food or entertainment available as expected, but this was not mentioned when making the reservation

It’s in great walking proximity to stores, restaurants, a grocery store, coffee shops and a beautiful walking path! Beautiful views of the mountains from the room!
Parking can be tight, but other than that it was great!

Late check in was good. Left the keys in a mailbox. Location was good
I tried to call twice before arriving, the day before and the day of. Despite calling during their hours of operation I was unable to get in contact with anyone. The pressboard furniture was falling apart due to water damage, there was makeup residue on the bathroom counter, the door handle was loose, the towels smelt heavily of bleach, the beds were extremely firm, and the whole place smelt really chemically/perfumey. Really not worth the money. I can’t believe they charge this much for that room.

Location was great. Room was really clean and the bed was super comfortable.
No AC so it was hard to keep the room cool. We tried opening the window at night but we had folks smoking outside that would stink up the room and the bar across the street was fairly noisy. If we kept the window closed it was quiet but it would get fairly warm. Parking was very limited with tight spots and we had painters scraping the outside walls of our room and we were not made aware that this would be happening.

The Hotel Manager was VERY friendly and VERY helpful.
The hotel has a very good location and if you don't have a car you just have a few minutes walk for the city center, a few minutes walk to nearest bus stop (local busses are free in Canmore) and a few minutes walk to a big Supermarket.
The view from the windows were just beutifull!
I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.
