It was the perfect location with everything needed/wanted a short walk
Our beds were pretty lumpy and didn’t provide the best comfort.

Great location. Clean rooms. Super friendly staff.
Sliding bathroom door doesn’t give a lot of noise privacy. Room was very hot even with the furnace turned off.

Great downtown location, the staff cleaned the snow off all the cars in the parking lot in the morning which was so nice! Zero issues with noise. You get a discount at the Drake restaurant!
Washrooms and towels are a little grungy, outdoor parking, beds and pillows a little hard and sad. Generally a bit outdated but well located and a good option for the price!

The sink faucet was hard to control and sprayed everywhere. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The price has increased considerably.

Good sized room, two good beds, decent bathroom, great view (given upgrade to this room), good TV with full channels, day manager was helpful and pleasant
- We arrived three hours before check in. Unexpected snow/cold snap, so not pleasant to wander around while waiting. Manager told us that she could likely have our room available earlier, and she would call us when it was ready. Staff was changing shift at that point, but both front desk workers where there at that moment. Two hours later, no call. We were cold and decided to just go wait in the small office/lobby. When we got there, we asked and the worker said, oh yes, your room is ready. We mentioned we had been waiting for a call, and she just said, "Oh". No apology or reason.
- cold weekend, only one blanket in the closet - asked for another one (two people/beds), and was told, "The bed has a quilt, You'll be fine", didn't receive the requested blanket (it was office closing time). The "quilt" was thin. We slept in sweaters.
- because of sudden snow, the outside stairway was icy and railing was snow covered, difficult for a senior with her bag. No assistance with bags is provided. Stairs should have been cleaned off. Later, we discovered a second stairway that was covered (still outside), that was safer and easier. Staff did not point this out to us for safety, and it wasn't obvious.
- asked to leave our backpacks while waiting for our room, and they said yes, but just to leave our bags in the small lobby area, unsecured (staff close by)
- the restaurant/bar was closed for renovations, so no food or entertainment available as expected, but this was not mentioned when making the reservation

Disappointing
View of the mountains was excellent.
There is a restaurant right below the room and it was playing loud music well through the night. The parking spot was was limited and really tight - only good for a small hatchback car.

Location in Canmore is right downtown. Restaurants within walking distance.
Nice staff. Clean room.
Pet friendly. Dogs welcome. Short path behind the motel for walking. Lunch and breakfast available in pub. No breakfast.
Unbearably hot. NO AIR CONDITIONING. IT WAS
27 celcius (80F)outside and the room stayed that hot all night.
We didn't get any sleep. We were offered a portable fan but it just moved around the hot air .
The bar/patio is literally right outside the bedroom window . Not private at all. Scary.
