The location is spot on. This is one of my favorite places. The housekeeping staff are the most beautifully kind people, ever. The front desk staff are also very friendly. There is no other place in Canmore where you will get this kind of value for your money. Every other place in Canmore is exceedingly over priced to the point of gauging. Free parking, kitchen facilities, great location...it's definitely not hidden but it sure is a gem!
A few items are beginning to age. The balconies could use some paint and the bbqs (by the playground) need to be cleaned (nobody seems to know how to clean up after themselves, unfortunately). I hope this property never does a huge renovation then turn around and jack up the rates. It's perfect the way it is...just needs a bit of age appropriate touch-ups.

The beds were super comfy. Great location. Very quiet. Got a good nights sleep.
Had to change rooms due to a plumbing issue (stuff happens). The young lady at the front desk was lacking in concern for the situation and sent someone over with a plunger (not the problem) After the maintenance person realized the problem was more serious he had to request a room change. As we could hear the conversation over the radio the impatience in her voice could be heard. We were given another room (floors were dirty, garbage behind the toilet). Cleaning staff need to be a bit more thorough
