It was not as advertised Beds were tiny noisy and uncomfortable Very dirty, long hair every where, rugs in the hallway looked like there had been a murder. Our 'balcony' was ground level leading into a swamp there were constantly draining. It felt like we were put in a basement suite that they usually put staff in. Dirty sheets all over the entry way hallway at all times if the day. For $500/night it was so bad.

Exceptional
We stayed here as we had a wedding The room had a great view and it was clean. We needed a cot for our son coming in and they accommodated us right away. We had breakfast at the restaurant and the staff was really friendly and the omelettes were delicious. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Nothing apart from decent location
Absolutely appalling, renovation works throughout the whole hotel never pre warned until 3 days prior just outside our 72 hour cancellation policy conveniently. Still awaiting complaint to be resolved as no one from the hotel has replied.

Location!
Very poor service, pricy, no housekeeping, staff argues, raise voice on customer, tries to be over smart. They supplied used, dirty, foul smelling towels. This is only a money making, commercial place. My worst experience in last 30 year.

They didn't clean the room daily. I was told that they only clean when you leave. So after 4 night stay, it wasn't the greatest. The front lawn had a pipe with running water that created a small pool that wasn't the best place. For the amount of money for this hotel it could have given better value. I understand that this area has changed over the years, which increased the rates in the Canmore area.

Disappointing
Only thing going for this place is location
Old, room furniture is old and not comfortable. Worn out carpets in hallways. Pool and hot tub not functional. Bare minimum amenities (not even a water bottle). 10am checkout.
