Featuring a wood burning fireplace lounge in the lobby, Basecamp Lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Canmore plus has easy access to the highway. Great staff, clean facilities, close to restaurants.
The train noise right beside the property was distracting. Not enough parking available onsite.

The location of the property was good. many restaurants and Convenience stores around. Staffs was responsive and always ready to assist when we needed something. Complimentary Breakfast basket also great. The beds and pillows were okay, Bathroom had all the amenities you needed. Room space is awesome. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again when we get back to Canmore.

Disappointing
Not much. Its gone downhill since we stayed there 4 years ago. The breakfast used to be nice with a dining room. Now they give you a little basket full of pre-packaged bakery items, bad bottled orange juice and an apple. Then they text you to be sure to bring back their 1$ basket back.
See above too. They have the group bottles of body soap and conditioner. Our shampoo was a bottle sitting in the shower that looked like it has been there for months. No thanks. Bed was also uncomfortable.

Great location and well appointed property, very clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchen (we stayed in a studio).
Lack of gluten free breakfast option despite giving prior notice. Lack of privacy on ground floor rooms if you opened the blinds to allow light in and an appreciation of the views of the mountains.
