The staff is incredibly friendly, if you’re on the fence about staying here just know that the staff will do everything to make sure your stay is A1
My family wanted to stay in Banff proper, that was the only reason we didn’t stay here in Canmore.

Wonderful
The breakfasts and staff were spot on. Our room was comfy. bed, chairs were comfy and the patio was a nice size
which we really enjoyed. And the grounds surrounding the lodge were well manicured and many options to sit and relax.

Friendly staff with lots of good suggestions about local activities, which all worked out well. Thoughtful layout, great breakfast, good vibes. Brooke at the front desk was exceptionally thoughtful/helpful.
Really hit all the marks for me.

We loved our breakfast in the room each morning. All the staff were super friendly and helpful!
Maybe a coffee station in addition to the coffee brought to your room. I love having coffee right when I wake up!

The breakfast was delicious and having it delivered to our room was nice.
The room was so hot. With temperatures in the high 70s all day, the room, the building were warm. We had sliding glass doors to a small patio but no screen so we were not comfortable leaving the door open at night. There was a small air conditioner in the room but it was so loud, we could not sleep with it on. So, basically, we just didn't sleep much.

Location. Breakfasts were excellent. Friendly staff.
Outsized and unused tub in room. Postage stamp shower. No closet to hang things in, no drawers. No coffee in room. No view (room 7).

This was a cute hotel, with a very good breakfast delivered to your room. I especially appreciated the french press coffee maker. They provided me two, one for my 6am wakeup and another for 8am breakfast. Very thoughtful. We stayed in the King Spa room, with a soaking tub in the room and enjoyed this relaxing element.

Very Good
Nice and tasteful decor and authentic wooden furniture in a cozy atmosphere, comfy bed and beautiful view from rooms overlooking the mountain chain.
A bit overpriced for what it offers in the so-called best bedroom with a in-site jacuzzi ( not really very practical) but ok for the romantic touch that it brings to the premise. Complimentary tea/coffee would be appreciated.
Breakfast served in the room is agreeable but you are given no choice of items ( except if it’s tea or coffee that you want) and definitely could be tastier if simpler - couple of toasts & jam& butter & honey and scrambled eggs as the warm dish could fit the picture perfectly well.

We liked walking to dinner at the Iron Goat. Parking was easy. The views were awesome of the mountains. The grounds and the flowers were beautiful. The staff helped in every way. They even called when we left a charger plug. We loved Canmore ----- we highly recommend this place.

Good
Location and how friendly staff was, cute rustic cozy cottage type accommodations. But not new.
We were downstairs and had to carry luggage up and down the stairs, a room on main floor would have been much better for us due to age, which should have been asked when reservations were made.and we would have liked a view. Front desk not manned after 6pm.

Very Poor
The stay was not worth the price.
Check-in was late at 4 PM, and check-out was early at 10:30 AM — and no one informed us about the check-out time.
We woke up very early because the room didn’t have proper blinds or curtains to block the sunlight.
Also, Breakfast was very disappointing and far below standard and we were obliged to look for breakfast outside of the hotel. We will never comeback again.
