The second floor smells as smoking room. ! But the 4th floor was very good.

The room was decent and mostly clean except the bathroom.
The shower was really dirty, and the kitchenette was useless as it was completely empty. Also felt tricked as the name says Calgary airport, but no shuttle service was available. No breakfast was offered.

Excellent location if you're a thrift store fan
Other people have not treated the hotel's rooms kindly. I don't understand this about people and you have to be a saint to own and run a hotel when people get drunk and damage things for no reason. This is a 2-star hotel and was clean enough; the bed was comfortable but they should use mattress pads.
I could not see any way to increase the heat in the room. It seemed only to have air conditioning. The a/c fan was very noisy.

Disappointing
My boyfriend and I stayed here last minute for the Stampead festival.
The location between the hotel and airport was good and between the hotel and festival was also good.
The room was big and spacious but very bland and basic.
The rooms could be done up a little more, it felt very basic and just a room with a large bed.
It also stated on google that there was an airport shuttle but on arrival I rang the hotel, and they advised me they didnt have one.

Disappointing
One out of two elevators worked. The sign said "temporarily out of order", but a review from March 2024 said the elevator wasnt working then.
When we first entered the room it smelled like cigarettes.
The walls were dirty. The lampshades were stained. The sheets were stained, the pillows and bed were uncomfortable. In the bathroom the only light was the mirror. The sink was dirty and did not drain well.

For a cheaper end place to stay at I got a lot more than expected from the hotel, the staff were all very accomodating and quick to attend to any needs. Bedrooms were exactly what we expected/ needed and the location was easy. Would stay here again if I needed to.

There was opened beer bottle on the floor when we entered in the room.
Bed mattress was terrible not confortable at all.
There was no drinking glass provided on request.

Staff was helpful.
The hotel elevator was broken two days before our booking, and no one informed us prior to check-in. I had 2 senior family members who were unable to go to 4th floor via stairs. They were accommodated to a smaller dark room rather than suite room I booked. I had no choice but to take it. the rooms weren't clean and we saw debris everywhere. There were not enough toiletries as compared to no of people. I won't go there again.
