Disappointing
Location. Location was amazing
Half ass jobs done. For example.. wall patching was horribly done. Made it feel like there was no pride or care in the place itself.
Housekeeping was disappointing. There was pee on the toilet dried on where the toilet screws to the ground. Clearly nothing was moved around when vacuuming as there was debris and candy in places. Under the desk ect.
There was a lamp in the corner of the room that wasn’t plugged in and no plug in even near where it stood for it to even be plugged in.
Someone barfed all over in the pool. Staff said it was going to be shut down, and it wasn’t. (A gentleman told us about this when he was walking by and saw our kids playing in the pool). It stunk so bad in there but we didn’t know why. We immediately went to pull them out of the pool and could see chunks still in spots around and right up to the pool. By the smell and reminisce left behind, it clearly was not cleaned up well.
The continental breakfast was disappointing. There was little to nothing my kids would eat (they are not fussy kids either). It was also the same every day we were there, which was disappointing. Every other hotel we’ve stayed in changed it up daily, which is nice for people staying longer than a night.
The soap was also liquid soap that anyone could open and mess around with which is kinda gross. Wrapped bar soap, new in package, or liquid soap that’s locked to a wall (same as shower products), and not able to be opened by hotel guests is always preferred for obvious reasons.
We definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall everything was good. Standard hotel accommodations kept in good condition and clean.
I didn't see waffles at the breakfast....i saw boxes of waffles as a delivery had just arrived, son maybe there wasn't any to put out yet...a waffle with the eggs and sausage would have been great, but thats not even a complaint, just something i didn't "like".
The other thing was the scrambled eggs were wierd.
Probly cause theyre the pre mixed egg liquid in a carton eggs. I get it. Real eggs are hard to work with logistically in a hotel buffet breakfast.
But maybe mix the egg liquid with powedered egg?
That may improve the texture. As they had a wierd mouthfeel. Ind powdered eggs ive had have a decent mouthfeel.
Just my opinion. Not a deal breaker by any means.
However, a discounted price for opting out of breakfast would be a nice feature.

Uncomfortable bed, poor choices for television viewing, and difficult to operate. Uncomfortable couch, loud McLeod Trail, traffic in the morning, hot tub, not working, staff, poor communicators, and bad English.

Ellen at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly, informative and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Very much appreciated the scrambled eggs & sausages breakfast. Close to the addresses I needed to visit. Other staff later on were very helpful.
