The staff were attentive and quick to respond to any issues we had. The property was clean and the breakfast was better than most. There was a lot of space and the barrel sauna was an excellent addition! Perhaps with it's popularity, a second barrel sauna could be added in case groups had filled the first one!
There is only one gripe I have with this property and it's this: Our friends were staying at the Mariott next door (The two hotels basically share the pool and sauna and exist on either side of a staff elevator and set of conference rooms. We stayed at the Residence and our friends stayed at the hotel next door. Travelling between the properties was annoying, we basically had to go down the elevator and then walk across the first floor and then up the elevator again to their rooms. We were physically very close together, but had to travel a great distance to see them. Not a deal breaker by any metric, but annoying. We actually could walk through the staff-only area and in through some doors, but we were told we weren't allowed to. The only other thing was that there is construction going on right across the parking lot, but there was no noise at night, just during the day and in the late morning.

The gentleman working at the front desk when I checked in was amazing. He went above and beyond to assess my needs as a guest, which was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. I didn’t check in until 11pm. My stay was comfortable, the room was very clean and the breakfast was 5 star. I only stayed one night and had to get back on the road first thing in the morning but I will absolutely book there again in the future.
