Didn’t enjoy anything. We use to stay at this hotel all the time and enjoyed it. Didn’t realize it was under new owners.
For starters. The man that checked us in wasn’t very friendly. If you’re going to have a customer service job then you should have some manners. Then we got to the room and it was completely filthy. Bathroom was full of long stringy hairs on the door, walls and tub. Mold all over the ceiling and walls. (Can’t have families with small kids like mine or anyone for that matter breathing in mold). The toilet wasn’t sealed at the bottom and had smelly leakage. The carpet in the room was sticky/damp throughout the whole room which is probably why it stunk like sweaty cheesy dog feet. My child’s bare feet were completely black from walking on it. We used a wet wipe on the carpet to see how dirty it was and the wet wipe was black from how dirty it was. Then my kids were getting into bed, pulled back the sheets and a big clump of hair was in the bed!!! The sheets also stunk like smelly sweaty ass like they hadn’t been washed. My husband went down to the front desk and told them and luckily they gave us another room that was a little more renovated & up kept but still dirty. The manager said they weren’t aware that the room was moldy or had any issues. Isn’t the cleaning staff giving updates on which rooms need work?? Also the cleaners need to be evaluated on their work if they are “cleaning” like this cause it was a terrible job. The manager only gave a 25% discount that I still haven’t received. We should’ve had a FULL refund in my opinion. Pathetic. The hotel room was NOT worth $145 that we spent. I wouldn’t even say it’s worth $50. Avoid this place.

Disappointing
Generally was a clean atmosphere.
Some staff were friendly, however others were not. The garbage can was overflowing in the lobby early Sunday morning. The pool was too cold, which tells me from past experience that the settings are not correct. And the restaurant was not child friendly. No kid menu, and the $14+/plate for breakfast is expensive for a team of under 12 year olds, including younger siblings, coming to stay. The actual room rates were too high for the basic room, and for a team booking, everyone was charged different rates. Not to mention, the team block of rooms were not actually blocked together on the same floor. My shower was not clean, I didn't notice until I was using it, that a shampoo bottle and bar of soap were left on the top ledge. Our mini fridge was wobbly, missing a leg or something, and the freezer part of it did not keep my water frozen.
