My friend and I made a reservation. What does a $250 damage deposit mean for a $220 room rate? We decided not to stay at the hotel, and the receptionist didn't even look at us. Maybe they should find a receptionist who's better at human relations.

The stuff we’re apostle horrible, they said they had no rooms then when I said I had a reservation they said okay we have many rooms available, then when I should them my dogs service ticket they didn’t accommodate it and said they are going to charge me for him , then when I said fine I’ll pay it it’s not a big deal they proceeded to charge me double for the room not the dog and I said why and the man manager said Thats just how it is ……… run away from this place before u waste … I talked to people there and they were all mad , one guy was waiting for two hours at the front desk for him and another couple ended being charged for leaving a stain on the towel for $50 and I just knew it was a problem so I went to go leave and the manger wouldn’t give me my bank cards or my id when I said no I’ll leave , very uncomfortable and unprofessional

The location is close to the Banff Trail LRT station which makes it great if you want to commute around the city with the train.
That motel is not suitable for human habitation and it was only until the last few days, that the staff even spoke to me. I should have read the reviews. My room was not cleaned at any point during my 10 day stay at the "hotel".

It was cheap and there was no fuss checking in or out.
It smelled like smoke, there was garbage under the bed, there were stains on the blanket, you could hear everything in adjacent rooms.

The people at the front desk were very nice. Sheets were clean. There were no bugs! Very convenient to the train station
There's definitely some issues such as overall maintenance. There is no breakfast

It was clean and tidy nice sheets
It was gloomy in the office/pool area...not very inviting...no lights on barely and the pool was dark no chairs/ dark

The location is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. For the room cost, you get your money's worth.
The coffee machine did not work.

Property was clean and had no problems. I had a good nite rest. The hotel was conveniently located
Had a little problem with the shower faucet handle but I figured out how to make it work. No problems afterward
