Hot tub was disgusting and so was the sauna, room had garbage left from previous guests shoved beside the bed, which makes me think they didn’t clean the bedding either because I found it as soon as I came up to the mattress

They eat delicious breakfast, very nice stuff front desk, kitchen, and breakfast staff.
the lineups were massive for breakfast and they kept running out of food and having to re-Cook over and over again. We left and came back an hour later and they still had no food. Perhaps more help for the kitchen would be in order for certain days that are expected to be busy.

I did like the breakfast and overall the room was clean
When I first check-in one staff looked at the computer while she was booking me in and said, "is there a reason why you're putting her in that room?" and the other staff replied, "it doesn't matter, she's alone." So I don't know what that meant, but it was strange.
I then asked if they still had the drinks for happy hour (which I loved during my last stay) and she said no, but when I came down the next day, everyone was having their drinks in the lobby.
The worst part was when I went up to my room- as I was getting settled in I could hear someone outside of my door, so I yelled out, "Hello!" with no reply. She then proceeded to scan a card (I could hear it and yelled hello again) and WALKED RIGHT INTO MY ROOM. It appeared that she was one of the cleaners and she had an ear piece in and was talking to someone and didn't hear me call out to her. She looked SURPRISED to see me, said sorry and walked out. She didn't even knock. She shouldn't have an ear piece in when she's working. I don't know why she needed to even go in there. I was so put off after that, but felt too awkward to tell the front desk.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the accommodations were pretty nice for the money, though the lighted mirror in the bathroom didn't work (weird considering how new the hotel is)
The free breakfast was great (lots of selection) and the free beverages upon check in were a nice touch (we sat at the bar by the entrance and chatted with other guests till last call)
Underground parking is ample and heated. Would definitely say it's one of the better hotels we've stayed at in Calgary over the years.

Breakfast was great Although, we have stayed there in the past and it was more exceptional. More variety and complex dishes which felt quite thought out. That being said, it was still great.
We booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. When we got to the room, it was just a regular sofa. So I went down to the front desk to tell them. One woman, she was very helpful, trying to rectify the situation. Other woman came in (she felt like she had more seniority) and said that it was a sofa bed. That I just had to fold it out. Multiple times I told her it was not a sofa bed, just a regular sofa. I had to go and take pictures of the sofa itself for the issue to be solved and for them to believe I know the difference between a sofa and a sofa bed. We probably won’t stay here again. But we have stayed here in the past and it was great! This time, it really wasn’t due to that.

This experience was excellent for our family.
The location was favorable.
I appreciated that it included a kitchen equipped with all the essential utensils.
I would have favored higher levels for an improved view. Upon entering the room, I found the place to be excessively dusty. It could have been better organized. I believe that an electric kettle would have been a very useful addition to the room. Although the breakfast was satisfactory, I feel that having a variety would have been appreciated after two days of the same breakfast selection, as we all appeared to be somewhat bored.
