Beds and breakfast were acceptable standard but the booking was misinterpreted by staff and we were overcharged for a roll in cot and not provided sufficient towels - also mistakenly charged extra though we had no pet - and our keys were not programmed right for a 2-night stay - we returned to find ourselves locked out and had to walk through dark parking lot to office to demand re-access to our room - it was not even serviced by housekeeping while we were away all afternoon till about 11 pm! No staff even apologized for poor service which greatly inconvenienced us.
service and renovations - carpets were filthy and should be replaced entirely!

Overall good location, good price. Pool was a good bonus, front desk staff were nice. For getting out of my house it was fine, AC worked well and kept the room nice and cool. Microwave was like a fancy... oven thing too which was kind of cool, good sized fridge, not just a little bar fridge.
A lot of the hotel felt dirty, the floor in the bathroom and the room was a dirty. I went to use some plates in the kitchen and they were dirty, so I had to clean them, and when I went to dry them there was a long hair in the towel that ended up on my plate. I picked a pet friendly room, and I didn't love that there was an additional charge for actually bringing a pet, if I'm looking for a room to bring my pets, I'd like to see that included in my price. One of the cleaning staff even gave me a dirty look every time she saw my husky haha.

Location is good, close to amenities
The room was initially ok and was sprayed to smell clean, but when I returned after running errands, the room smelled terrible. It had a stale beer smell, and even though I tried to air it out, it lingered. I notified the front desk and checked out. I have never had to actually leave a hotel because of these issues. I did go elsewhere. I would not stay here at this location again. The manager would not refund the room.

Your online booking system needs help. No idea there was more than one Super 8 in south calgary
Was booked in "south Calgary" when "south Calgary - Shawnessey" was 2 minutes from meeting place. Wasn't allowed to switch to the proper hotel, even though it is the same bloody chain. Ever have to take a cab in rush hour Calgary. ??? Had to pay for 2 hotels for a one night stay. DISGUSTING !!!!
