The location was perfect for getting to and from comic expo ( stampede park)
Housekeeping left our room door unlocked and open for more than 6 hours..., the door broke on their way in or out, and they some how didint notice the door not closing behind them,, and this resulted in us having to rush to change rooms after being at a convention all day in hot costumes, we were exhausted! But had to change rooms for our safety
In this process a couple of important items went missing, either stolen by staff or possibly when the room was left unlocked and open all day....
one of the items that went missing, was a smart watch, and the other was a limited edition collectible that is priceless now.!
Management has been unresponsive to my inquiries....
Hotel staff just told me " they don't have it" and offered nothing for their negligence. Resulting in lost property or stolen property.

Quiet. Good Value. Basic Breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, some breads. ). Decent sized room. parking included, easy to get to

We booked the Econo Lodge due to its location to the Foothills Hospital. We stayed in the older 2 story section of the building so that we could access street level parking in front of our room. We know the building is being renovated so not a huge issue. You had to run the hot water tap a long time before you got hot water. Food from the previous guest was still in the fridge. The rest of the room was alright and I assumed that it will get renovated in time once the newer section is done. It needs new mattresses as well.

location
I was surprised that the electrical wires on the baseboard heater in the bathroom were exposed. If I had a child I would not want them to go near that.
Also the fridge is noisy. I could hear the motor running
