Very clean and homey. Front desk lady was very pleasant. Felt like a hallmark movie at Christmas if it was as decorated for Christmas :)
Had breakfast the next day and it was hot and tasty, grabbed a muffin and yogurt to go. Nice little area to eat in too. The room was so spacious even had a living room area. Bathtub was very spacious and clean as well. Hot tub and pool were clean and well maintained for the age of the building.
The location is odd, but on the outside of Calgary but for us we didn’t want to go into Calgary so it was nice being close to the highway. It’s close to airport as well and you would think you would hear all the planes but you honestly don’t, was an overall fabulous experience.
Pool was quite warm, almost too warm for a pool
The room we had set to 18 because we like it cold and it didn’t really cool down at all, so it was an uncomfortable sleep

I enjoy the consistency with the brand Country Inn in Canada and most of the USA.
Pricing is a problem however that is a North American issue. ie: roughly double of the rest of the world...

The breakfast room is too small and is poorly laid out. Not enough tables for singles.

It was very well decorated and clean and for the most part well maintained.
There was no sign on the bathroom in the pool saying there was a shower in the bathroom so if you didn’t need to use the bathroom you never saw the shower.
The hot tub was developing mould around the caulking and some of the caulking was falling off.
The shower valve cover in room 334 was falling off.
The magnets in the closet that held the doors closed were falling off.
There was no way to control the temperature in the room.
