It's a cheap motel there is no restaurants
When we got to our home we checked our credit card statement and saw that this motel had charged us without notification $40.95 CAD. I called the motel and they said it was for damage. I asked what damage and the receptionist said we stained 2 towels. The towels were dirty but nothing that would have come out in the wash so we feel they were scamming us. I have informed my bank.

Asked for extra pillows said NO. Was put in the last room at the end of the 2nd floor right beside the noisy highway. Heard cars and trucks all night long not getting any sleep. The TV was broken as the cable kept cutting in and out. No hot water for a shower. The bed was too soft and the mattress was sagging in that gave me a sore back in the morning.

I love great +7 +8 +9 accommodations like anyone but sometimes I hate paying the price if it's not practical for a 1 night stopover . After reading the reviews sometimes you have to read between the lines. This property had good , bad and very bad reviews
Honestly I found it ok, polite staff in the office, cheap price, a good clean room, clean linen (a must), and near public transport and shops, gas station nearby. It wasn't perfect but for the price it's ok. I also had my $100 security deposit back in my acct within 48 hrs. Recommend if wanting cheap option.
PS It was near a hire Turo car I was picking up the next day.

I did not stay at the property cause they couldn’t make an exception on my stay.
They asked for a ridiculous amount for damage deposit and couldn’t meet a reasonable accommodation.

wifi worked
there were people smoking cigarettes and marijuana outside and it smelt terrible. the rooms had a unpleasant smell. they avertised a continental breakfast and it was not offered at all. there was no ice, even though they had ice buckets in the rooms. the bathroom fans are so noisy it sounds like a jet taking off. a very much needed update in general. the reception could've been more accomodating to our situation, in the end it was more work for them and more of a hassle for us. they weren't interested in collaborating with me. the check in desk has metal bars all around it like they were caged in and seemed to imply a dangerous area....
