Disappointing
I was disappointed that they charged $75 for a dog. In the past they provided a dog dish, a toy and treats and nothing was given. They also charged a $3.00 room tourism levy fee. My dog is a 12 pound mini daschaund it’s crazy to me they charge that. I can see why people lie about bring pets. Absolutely feel like it gouged money grab!
The property was great location as I got off an international flight. I ate the restaurant and had a cherry blossom drink for $20 which was not worth it all. Pizza was lack lustre and $26. Look and tasted like something they bought from superstore and put in the microwave!

It’s in the middle of the airport with nice clean rooms with great sound proofing.
How can a hotel that charges as much per night for a room have the audacity to charge for internet!! My booking with Booking.com said “free internet” and it wasn’t. An utter disgrace.

Close to airport terminal
Restaurant first night was fabulous, delivered our desserts to our room with our drinks. Meal was good, except the asparagus woody. Server attention fantastic
However, second night was a completely different story and completely different restaurant. We asked to be seated at the bar while we had a drink and requested after we were going to proceeded at a table for a meal. We seated away from the bar, however there were charging stations as we needed one. After we were seated, it was almost an hour, and we still didn’t get our order taken. The menus we were given, had two different prices for most meat dishes and the daily pasta feature. I had to go to the bar myself and order drinks. Once the bartender brought them over, I told him that we had been sitting there for almost an hour with no attention, and that we would like to be seated at a table for dinner. The servers only looked at me when I was at the bar, ordering my own drink and we’re chatting amongst themselves as if they were talking about us. Thankfully, the bartender was our server for the remainder of the night. He was attentive and ensured our meals were towards our satisfaction.. when we received the bill we were overcharged for the pasta feature . I took the bill to the counter and the server who was attending the till proceeded to tell me that I have to pay whatever the computer says because that’s what’s there despite me explaining there was a menu pricing discrepancy. She got the restaurant manager. to come over to deal with it. He asked us to prove and show him the menu pricing differences. We explained that one price was on the Chinook menu and another price was on the menu coyote. The bartender took our bill and amended the amount payable. The manager should have taken our word as the customer and not asking us to produce a menu showing him price differences. Extremely disappointing.. Yakima restaurant.

So easy to fly to Calgary and just walk in. Beautiful room overlooking West Jet concourse and downtown Calgary. Thoughtful birthday dessert sent to room by front desk. Room service delivered just toast and bacon as it was all we wanted. Front desk staff warm and greeting.
Having to join club and pay Marriott to use internet, though it was waived to us “this one time” is ridiculous.
Skimpy amount of towels in bathroom. I didn’t realize until drying off after morning shower that one towel wasn’t enough. I would hardly call room service then.
