The location is nice. I like that it is close to restaurants and Market Mall. The view of the river from the back yard is pretty.
The administrative staff did not send my check-in package until I called & emailed multiple times. Our check-in was at 4 PM and we were not able to check-in until 4:30 when they finally got back to us. They addressed this issue by telling me that they must have sent it, but it probably went to my junk mail. I received the email immediately after they "re-sent" the email. At nearly 9 PM, the staff texted me to tell me that my credit card was declined, and they sent me an invoice and told me to pay it asap. I had paid for the hotel stay up front. When I let them know this and sent the screenshot from my bank, they said to disregard and that the "virtual card has gone through." They did not cancel the invoice and I received multiple emails to pay it until I asked them the next day to please cancel. Please also note that the Queen Room and Royal Queen room are different. I booked what I thought was the Royal Queen room, but it was actually the "Country Garden Room," which was in the basement. Nowhere on the bookings listing did it say Country Garden Room, so I was confused. The Country Garden Room was tiny, in the basement, had an uncomfortable bed, and I could hear both people and animals walking around upstairs. I could hear water running. Every time the fridge turned on, the TV would flicker. We could hear people walking around in the halls and they also tried to get into our room at midnight. I paid almost $170 for this room thinking it was the upstairs room with the jacuzzi, and it was definitely not worth it. Overall, it was extremely disappointing, and I'd rather stay in a hotel.

The room is really spacious and well maintained

Breakfast was very limited. Nice touch having fresh fruit out.
Upon arrival I had not been sent the codes for the door and had to wait 40 minutes for a reply! Very frustrating! The parking was very limited and tight. Further there was a Ford truck parked right beside the pathway every night which made entry difficult. Property itself needs a lot of work outside not well maintained.

It was clean and beautiful.
I arrived at night and it was raining. I didn't have a door code so it took me a while to contact someone. They responded in a decent amount of time. I thought advertising Bed and Breakfast that there would be food there. It was empty when I arrived and kind of confusing. The rooms had names on them but I didn't know which was mine so I had to try my code on all the doors. It was frustrating.

Really loved the quaint location, the in-room spa bath, and steam shower. Room was very cozy, and having access to the stocked kitchenette, and array of games and books felt homey.
We got our welcome package late, and waited almost 40mins to get access after check-in time.

All I can say about this place is WOW!! The location is beautiful and the interiors are exceptional with superb facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean. It is really a 5 star place to stay. I only wished we could have stayed longer.
If booked through Booking.com , check your junk email for messages. I missed my arrival package but this was very smoothly sorted out by the owners.

A lovely location! Very comfy room and lovely property.
I had contacted staff in advance and asked for a romance add on, but it wasnt done. It would have been free so this did not deter from my stay, but I was disappointed. Otherwise a great time!

The accommodation looked fabulous from the outside but not our room...!!
The photos that were on the website that I looked at when we got to Calgary were nothing like those when we booked! There had obviously been a refurbishment done but we were never offered a chance to upgrade!! Had we known we would definitely have done so!!
We ended up in a small dingy musty smelling basement room with a tiny window above the bed. Everything was old and very tired. The bed was sagging and uncomfortable and the bedding didn't smell at all fresh. What was worse was we were literally next door to a boiler/generator room that was on ALL NIGHT!! We could feel the vibration under our feet and the sound resonated all over the basement level. I had to wear my noise cancelling headphones all night to drown out the sound. Needless to say we left the following morning and booked into the Clique Applause Hotel up near the airport which was absolutely outstanding!!
When we first arrived we saw the chap who owned the accommodation and tried to get his attention but couldn't. We rang two of the numbers we were given by the automated messaging via Booking.com to try and see if we could move to another room and we left several messages on the system but did not receive ANY replies.
We felt it so inhospitable that the owners of the property couldn't be there to greet you or even call or message you to ask if everything was okay. We had been all over Canada in lots of Airbnb's etc and found the Canadian people just could not do enough for us. Not these owners! They couldn't have given two hoots!! If we have been given the opportunity to communicate with them I'm sure that we could have changed rooms and all would have been well? (well, that's provided we couldn't hear the boiler/generator noise!).
With some communication from the owners whilst on site, the outcome could have be SO different!

There was food (milk) left in the fridge that was very out of date. Including the fruit pots were out of date since March.
Would have liked the option to check out after 11.
Tried calling Jess, no answer. Left a voicemail. No response.
