Nicely located in Tunnel Mountain district of Banff, staff at the reception is amazingly friendly. There is a bus to downtown Banff just in front of the hotel and you get free pass for the duration of your stay. Rooms are comfortable.
A bit pricey but that’s Banff …

The room was nice and was a good size. It was clean and had a lovely outlook.
It was very expensive and the gymnasium was in terrible condition with hardly anything working at all.

Facilities are good - steam room / small swimming pool. Villa is also decent which can accommodate a large family. Beds are comfy.
Too expensive for what you get. And was definitely a 3* - cutlery dirty on arrival in villa, no cooking utilities (had to source from reception), no dedicated car parking space for villa, no firewood in property, staff service ok.

Simple hotel, too expensive for what they are offering as rooms are rather old and it feels like a motel, definitely not a resort.
Facilities are old and location is not convenient, being quite far from Banff town. I wouldn’t choose it again. It was super expensive.

Had free parking and you can just park whenever there’s space (they also provide free bus passes which would be nice for those using the bus system), changed towels for us everyday which we loved, they have free bear spray rental (if you use it, it’s 40) but I like they offered it
Wi-Fi was so bad for us and it might be because we were in the basement but it would just disconnect and go back to our phone data

The staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Although the unit was nice and clean, there were things that were annoying. The dishwasher top drawer could not be pulled out. I asked housekeeping to fix and they could not fix. The TVs are outdated. If I had known, we would have brought our own HDMI cable so we could stream movies. They did not have any for us to use while we were there (other guests were using). We had the chalet kitchenette unit. When using the dining table, no outlets are nearby to plug in for your laptop. I had to ask for an extension cord (fortunately they had one for me to use).
The laundry is sad. There are only 2 washers and 1 functioning dryer for the entire resort. And you can only use from 8 am to 10 pm. If you are hiking all day and return after dinner, there isn't much time to use the laundry since others are also using at the same time. If would be better if they had more washers/dryers and if the time period was longer. I don't stay at a hotel during the day to do laundry. It would have been perfect if use of the laundry could be 24/7. I understand the quiet hours, but the laundry should be placed in a different location that does not disturb guests so it can be used by guests. For these reasons, I would not stay here again,
