Hotel is on the outskirts of Banff and has bus stop locally and the walk into the centre is not too far if the weather is fine. As with most hotel's in the area they are a bit expensive but actual facilities such as restaurant is lacking. Car parking is available and easy accessible which is a bonus, but overall value for money when compared to other hotels we stayed in was a bit poor. It is a good base when staying in the area especially if you have a car.
Breakfast whilst included was very basic and could have been a lot better. Selection of scrambled egg and sausage was not that great and whilst pastries and pancakes were available the quality was not that good unfortunately.

Simple, clean and good for family to stay in. Good facilities and amenities like the free smores, hot and cold plunge was a plus.
Breakfast was decent but lacked variety.

I liked the staff who helped with directions and gave us a later checkout which was so kind. I liked the smores for the kids and the games to play as a family.
There was no towels restocked at the hot tub and glasses left on the tables - not cleaned up.

Location
The gentleman that checked us in claimed we didn't pay and charge us again. When I told him that I already paid through Bookings.com he responded that we should have booked direct and not through Bookings.com. We would have never known about your hotel if it wasn't for booking.com. Later the other gentleman at the desk looked into it and said we in fact did pay through bookings.com.

Friendly welcoming staff. Two Australian chaps on the front desk were wonderful. Were able to answer all out questions and gave great advice about the local attractions and transport options. Basic breakfast options, but again, great friendly staff to assist with our dietary requirements.

The size was great and well appointed. The staff at the hotel was very good and the hotel was clean.
Our room smelled like smelly socks. Unfortunately it clouded our overall experience. We didn’t feel the value was there.
